Because of the power to dispel darkness, the guru is thus named.

The word guru (Sanskrit: गुरु), a noun, connotes “teacher” in Sanskrit, but in ancient eastern traditions Guru has contextual meanings with significance beyond what teacher means in English.

For a better , beautiful and new world, we need commune based on real love and consciousness.
We don’t need old age homes.
Human race doesn’t need orphanages.
We don’t need mental asylums.
World doesn’t need prisons.
We don’t need hospitals.
Humanity doesn’t need psychiatric treatments.
We don’t need medicines and surgeries.
And for that, at first we need a commune.

Great Banyan tree survived the cyclones of 1864, 1867 and 2020. Its Main trunk was removed in 1925 due to fungal infection when circumference was 16.7 m but today still stands mightier with circumference of 486 m with 4208 prop roots. Location – AJCB Botanical Garden, Howrah, India
